ALEX WILSON

ARCHITECT

Following a period of extensive travel through Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia (mostly by bike), Alex joined ABA as a project architect in 2013. Equally at home in the early conceptual phase of a project or in the administering of the construction phase of projects, Alex brings intelligence, rigour, consistency and clear thinking to all her work across different project types and phases.

Alex has extensive experience working on high quality projects at a range of scales, from small residential alterations, new houses, interior design, large multi-residential developments and complex educational buildings to a value of $35m. As the project architect for the City of Sydney’s Bourke St Childcare and Community Centre Alex has developed extensive expertise in achieving a best practice and inspiring early education and childcare facility.

Prior to working at ABA Alex worked at Tzannes Associates for 8 years between 2002 and 2010. Alex studied architecture at the University of Technology Sydney, where she graduated with first class honours in 2007.

Alex has been a registered architect since 2009 (#8394 NSW Architects Registration Board).
